Prior to joining HBA consulting,
Les Bell worked in the
Australian Public Service for
nearly 30 years in large and
small agencies in both regional
and central office environments.
Les has worked in a number of
senior corporate management
positions and led corporate
management programs during this
period. He has gained extensive
experience in human resource
management, financial
management, corporate
governance, program evaluation
and performance auditing.
Les retired as Regional Director
of the Australian Public Service
Commission in Queensland in
2005, after working as the
Director of Corporate Services
with the Great Barrier Reef
Marine Park Authority for
approximately 4 years.
Les has had wide ranging human
resource and corporate
management experience and is
available to undertake
consultancies in the following
areas:

breaches of the code of
conduct and other complex HR

Development of human
resource management and
related policies and
guidelines; |

Reviewing organizational
structures, systems and
procedures; |

Assisting with complex
selection exercises as a
panel member and/or advisor.

Given that Les resides in
Brisbane, he is well placed to
undertake consultancies in
Queensland and interstate.
Les holds a Bachelor of Arts
with Double Majors in Economics
from the University of
Melbourne.
